1. Service

Medicod provides educational explanations of laboratory test results using software and artificial intelligence. The service helps users read and understand markers, ranges, and general lifestyle context. The service is provided by NWTC INC, 30 North Gould Street Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.

2. No Medical Advice

Medicod does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or emergency care. Reports are informational only. Do not ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information from Medicod.

3. User Responsibilities

• Use the app only for lawful purposes.
• Upload only documents you have the right to process.
• Review outputs critically and consult a healthcare professional.
• Do not use Medicod for emergencies or urgent health decisions.

4. Purchases

A paid full report is a one-time digital purchase tied to a specific analysis/report; it is not a subscription. Web purchases are processed by Stripe, which may offer card or Link depending on the customer and device. The full-report price is shown after the free preview. Mobile app purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store, with RevenueCat used to verify entitlement. Those stores handle their payment methods, receipts, and store refund rules. Medicod does not receive full card numbers or CVC.

Contact support if a web payment is duplicated or a paid report is not delivered. Approved web refunds are returned to the original payment method. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

5. App Launch List

The app landing page may let you join a launch list before the iOS or Android app is available. Joining the launch list does not create a paid account, guarantee a launch date, or provide app store access.

6. AI Limitations

AI-generated explanations may contain errors, omissions, or outdated context. Medicod is not responsible for health decisions made without professional review.

7. Privacy

Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. By using Medicod, you agree that uploaded documents and extracted markers may be processed to provide the requested report. Lab reports can contain sensitive health data. Before an upload, Medicod requests consent for automated OCR/AI processing and cross-border processing by infrastructure providers. Do not upload a document if you do not agree to that processing.

8. Availability

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or service improvement.
